About Bauti Coronel

Bautista Coronel develops Elyrium

a fictional universe where monumental landscapes and abandoned structures suggest a world gradually reclaimed by nature. His work explores the tension between permanence and disappearance, where human presence fades into silence.

Working primarily with traditional painting, Coronel constructs immersive environments that balance control and intuition. His compositions combine precise spatial structures with organic, unpredictable processes, creating scenes that feel both designed and discovered.

Elyrium emerges from an ongoing investigation into scale, memory, and the fragile relationship between humanity and its environment. Through vast landscapes and quiet atmospheres, his work invites contemplation and a slowed perception of time.
